swift hooves

Eternal Gallop

Two rings, one painted scroll: distant mountains, flying cranes and peonies in full bloom, with a golden horse galloping through the flowers. Two lines of pavé part the landscape, then join it again.

Inside, one small line of script, Time blooms on skin, known only to the ones who wear it.

Apart, each holds a half of spring.
Together, both reveal a world in bloom.

The shape
of a thought.

Iridescent enamel set into openwork gold. One ring grows like a neural tree, the other gathers like a bundle of fibers. Turn them toward the light and blue, violet and green move through the lines, like a thought passing through.
